Hey guys, so I've gotten a bit annoyed because my previous car had bluetooth my current car doesn't and I wont answer my phone whilst driving so some people are getting upset by this. I now need to get Bluetooth fitted and thus will be doing a retrofit job, hopefully I can do all myself including the coding through SSS.
I've got the official BMW documents on how to fit it just I am a bit confused. My car is prewired however I can't seem to find the cable for the antenna.
According to the BMW instructions its located under the pedal covering (on the left of the vehcile), but because its a USA manual would it maybe be under the passenger cover or would it still be under the pedal covering (right side for SA) ?
Anyway I'm not sure can't find the cable.
So I am asking a favor from a felllow fanatic that has a E90 and the BMW bluetooth. Could you kindly remove the pedal covering and check if you can see the antenna there, it's only 3 screws.
I am also thinking that perhaps the bluetooth aerial is integrated into the sharkfin, as the sharkfin isn't for all markets.
Maybe someone can shed some light. Thanks in advance.
btw here is the link for the manual
