@Naikers - I meant petrol stations.... LoL. cos them 6 and 8 packs are not the most frugal on the fuel economy side.

But yip, you will also need more parking space for the cars.

Do what my dad did, he put a layer of foam on the walls where the doors open so that if the door is opened too much by mistake, the damage is limited.

An absolutely beautiful car, many congratulations :clap::clap::clap: I almost bought one mid last year when I sold my e60 530, but opted for another e39 M5 as I just needed that experience one last time. However, the 550 and e60 M5 are definately on my list within the next year or two. The other two are also just fantastic, well done on a great collection of very awesome BMW's :thumbsup:

Hadn't thought about it that way, makes lots of sense - still say, pity the E60 M5 was only sold with a manual gearbox option in the States (of all places)! :thumbsup:

I understand, and agree with, that logic completely, but know, when the time comes, my heart will probably pull me towards the M5.

The thing that is a bit scary about the E60 M5 so I hear, is that the SMG gearbox does not usually have a long service life - I've also heard that the diff is prone to overheating and possibly failing. I can only dream what it would be like to own one of these M5's, but out of motorplan I would be terrified!!! :mmm:
