Angel Eye Headlights

Hey everyone,

I'm in search of angel eye headlights for my 2010 E87. The car didn't come out with any so it is still using the original halogen lights.

Can anyone point me in a direction where I can buy the headlights along with all the adapters and converters that are required. Or even a company/individual who does it would be awesome. I have no idea what is required to make them work so advice would also be appreciated.

I'm in the East Rand, Gauteng.

Thanking all of you in advance.

How much are you looking to spend? Best way would be go get a second hand set from a wrecked car. You can call places like md house to see if they have.

Or the other option is retrofitting then into your existing headlights. You can speak to violet electronics on the forum about this.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not entirely sure what the entire deal will cost me, but I'm not sure if I'll go for anything more than 10K. Well without proper reason that is.

I will speak to violet electronics and see what they have to offer.

You could get away with oem xenons for 10k. But everything including bulbs would have to be second hand. You also wouldn't have the self leveling feature.

When opening headlights and installing rings you DO NOT want to put cheap lights in as if they fail you'll have to reopen them and reseal them again.

Go for after market it's much cheaper...

Look for a decent kit should be priced around R1500 the kit has to contain a tap in wire that wires directly onto a park wire running from the computer box reason for this is that after market systems run at 5 amp stable and your standard parks run at 4 amp stable so it brings down the amp using the tap in and converter boxes...

If you don't have a kit like this you will have a issue with them flashing when on and offand in some cases burning out completely...

I had a kit fitted on my car bought it like that box caught on fire kit had no tap in...

Please Google this and make your choice carefully the video's online also show u how to fit properly and it's not rocket science...

I will also be reinstalling mine soon just looking for a good set and some time.

GOOD LUCK

Any luck on finding angel eye lights really looking to get an affordable pair as well.

Violet Electronics sells the entire headlight assembly. They going for R 6,300 for the pair - that way you won't damage your original headlights. I have not bought these - I've decided to spend a bit of money on a proper sound system and maybe even increasing the performance of the car first before replacing the headlights.

Just speak to them - or use their contact link on the website and ask what you need to - they are extremely helpful and always willing to lend an ear.
