No I checked it out, if i wanted to fly down it should've been by last week. Like you say one needs deep pockets to fly down now, till about next year. No I'm driving down with a family friend who's visiting there. So just need to drive back up by Sunday morning.

Thanks I been doing allot of thinking and decided to refurbish them rather. But now I'm not to sure if I want to polish the lip or not. But I don't think I should.

I know it's a thread revival, but just had to keep myself and everyone in the loop. I did sell the car to a very very nice guy. He seems to care for his cars quite well. I haven't managed to get him into the forum thing yet but we're still in touch. He got the M back from savspeed last week and is busy running her in and will go for a high boost setup after the next 2000km.

It has become his pride and toy. So will post subsequently when I get to see her in the flesh so we can all drool once more :thumbs:

AWESOME!!! Pity it has to lose the AC. Thats the only thing stopping me from going the Turbo Route. I'd die without AC.

The car is in good hands and I'm very happy this oke bought it. Can't wait to see it again though. I remember I just refitted all the interior and exterior lights with bimmian xenon replacements and fitted the angel eye halo's a week before. Then had to wave the car goodbye. He had to come back for some papers and the look of the car was mesmerizing. Best car I've ever owned. Probably for a long time too...
