But one day is one day!!! This is my brand new second hand (rofl) 2012 MK6 Golf GTI DSG with sunroof,18" Mags,Touch Screen Radio,Xenon lights (+daylight LED's) and pretty much that.
My dad didn't budge for the e90 320d or the new F20 120d...
We drove this car...and I could see in his smile that he liked this Golfie very much. In his personal opinion...he thinks it's a better built quality. I also did the VW advanced driving course with the Manual GTI's and it was great fun.
The downside: It's FWD and quite heavy on fuel. Some 45km of Driving highway and city it gave me a figure of 8.2L/100km. I'm sure it will climb to 10L+
In the end...I'm VERY happy with this awesome purchase. I know I'm going to see my gat againts the Beemers but hell...These GTI's drive nice! I drive at approx 50-60km/h and before I know it, this DSG Gearbox is already in 5th gear?! Gave her some beans in Sport Mode (Tip tronic) and hell...this gearbox is FLAWLESS! Changes like a boss.
No wonder all the GTI's wants to dice & rice! It makes us feel like a ///M car hahaha! :flyfun:
After all it's my "daily!"
Ps: The insurance on the car is pathetic high!! R2500+ :flyfun:
We even heard some insurance companies charge R3800 p/m
Apparently very high risk in terms of high Jack and "us" windgat laaitjies...
But luckly me Santam is awesome. They gave me a better deal.
Sorry guys for the dissapointment. But I was really searching and nicking for the 330d / 320d but it didn't work out.
