What a toss!!
There are probably 1400 Nissan bakkies out there that could out run an AMG in a straight line... its immaterial... but a race around a track displays what a car is actually about.... not a straight line projectile. When it comes to the bends, the benz doesn't cope and that's just fact!
In the words of an ex Group N racer who did a comparison test of the Audi RS6, Bmw M5 e60 V10, AMG E63 around Zwartkops:
Audi: great all round drivability, fast, secure, sure footed, 2nd quickest around the track.
BMW: not the quickest in a straight line, incredible soundtrack, a Jeckle & Hyde character, around the track....way faster and able to position and control much more than the others, a true driving machine
Merc: rocket like straight line speed, quickest of the 3 here, oh boy cornering is not a strong point nor are the brakes - overheat after 2 laps of intense braking, slowest around the track of the 3, BMW is over 1.3 secs a lap faster
now go back to school and educate yourself! :hammerhead:
