If I did not know you, I would think you are a spammer. Why do you post internet pics?

I think the Amarok still have some proving to do. Especially the single cab ones that came out now.

Aaah :) Pretty cool. But then it would make sense to take the TDi vs the V6 as they also pay tax on engine capacity, not?

Go and drive the new V9X Navara... V6 Diesel with 7speed Auto, permanent 4x4 170kw, 550nM.... It pulls your foreskin back when planted...hehehehe.

But yes, the Amaroks are nice to! For me it would be a desicion between the Navara and Amarok.

drove the amarok at the launch in midrand, very nice, but they couldnt answer me about how reliable the turbos are.

the navara v6 diesel is way over priced,we have the 2.5 diesel and that is good enough.but for the price of a v6 i would rather buy a x3.

hilux,ja well it feels like a bakkie, and the rest are rubish

On ignition they did a test run against the hilux, ranger and kb. Overall if memory serves me well the amarok won

Oh and by the way I saw one here in Sweden that was parked next to a ford f150 and I have to admit the in my opinion the amarok looked better

I Agree about the price on the V6 Herr... Thats why I'll buy one in two years or so...hehehe. I also have a 2.5, and I love it. Have you seen the deals on the new Navara 2.5's... Not to bad.

they have great deals, but ours is paid up so thats even better,150 000km and still going strong, wife bought it with 88 000km on the clock and has enjoyed every moment of it.looked at a v6 petrol, but have decided to pay up the bm and then buy a lumina as a toy

Friends of ours just bought one, so will keep an ear open to how they find it - they are huge VW fans apparently it seems. They currently have a current model Polo TDI (had the older 96KW sportech and then the 5dr 74KW highline before) - already had to have injectors replaced, so will be curious to see how the Amorak fares since the basic engine technology is the same. Just to clarify, they are very careful with their vehicles and do look after them - not the type that race a cold diesel and/or turn off the engine before it even reaches idling speed.

We have HMS Isuzu KB with the older agricultural D-Max engine and to be honest, I am perfectly happy with the performance vs reliability thus far that it offers! :=):

In that case, try this for size, and it's locally made - was on a recent Top Gear!!! :tease:
