We have a member on here who has one that is exactly the same, he has bought it and is still enjoying it after a good few years.

Depends totally if you REALLY want the MSport or not. In SA we are all spoilt with wanting our cars as they are and the second hand market is not easy to do so. In overseas forums, guys buy these and then fit on the MSport kits afterwards and they happy.
This car looks so clean but those huge tailpieces may tell another story but that low mileage is a temptation too to anyone checking it out.

If this is worth it then the buyer can consider:

1. Change the steering wheel to MSport (Easy to get)
2. Change the front seats (easily obtainable)
3. Change front and rear bumpers (again easy to get)
4. side sills (same thing, easy to get)
5. Either get M-Sport rims or a decent aftermarket upgrade
6. Fit H&R Springs or Coilovers (instead of MPerf shocks and springs)

The list is not that big, for someone who has the appetite for this type of purchase (big enough wallet) and the upgrades, this could be a decent buy.

The real attraction here is the mileage IF it is real.

The retrofits can add up. Doubtful whether you will get anything back on them: If it was me, I would just change the steering wheel, wheels, do a proper suspension (BC/KW etc budget permitting) instead of bumpers/sills etc and move on.

Unfortunately being at WBC with that sort of mileage and no dealers having snagged it on auction, I have to wonder why (beyond it not being an M Sport - it's still a very low mile M340).

Yep - valid point. Clean low mileage cars get snatched up by dealers very quickly before they even get to the floor. Some of the WBC sales guys have contacts with dealers as well, so clearly there’s a reason why they haven’t pushed this car (beyond the lack of M sport).

Btw, small correction - it’s a 340i. Only officially became a M340i in the G20 range, as an official M performance model. BMW badge marketing…

The internet never forgets. It’s even worse for the very rare brands where the cars go into hiding for a few years and then pop up again pretending to be nuns. Only for guys to pull out the pics from the cars stripper/hoe years 😂😂😂
So the TL;DR is that this car is a lemon? 🤣
The internet truly never forgets

Normally dekra would state the exhaust is not original - but for the WBC report - it says exhaust is in good condition :ROFLMAO:

also they didnt really include a proper picture underneath (normally they do) - looks like the whole system was done on this car.
