All PM's To Be Deleted - 26.03.2019 - 7PM

Hi all.

Seeing as more assistance has been offered, in an attempt to ease the burden and continue the troubleshooting process all PM's of all forumites will be deleted tonight, 26 March 2019, at approximately 19H00.

If you have PM's of importance in any folder, I suggest you do a back-up of them or simply jot down any details you purposely archived.

The webmaster, myself and possibly a few others will attempt this tonight, and while we believe this may alleviate the problem somewhat (or completely), we do not guarantee 100% success immediately.

So if something major goes wrong... Sorry neh.

The forum is not old, at just shy of 10 years now.

Deleting only 5 years of the oldest PM's will make only a small dent. We have experience exponential growth over the last 3 years so we'd like to see what kind of a dent we can actually make.

As someone said before, a PM is just that. Not critical info that someone paid storage fees for, or even the reason for signing up to the forum. We let it all go and see if it helps.

Great stuff... Let's hope. It solves the problem. Big ups to all the coding guys who have offered their assistance, great to know people do give a damn and are willing to assist instead of just name calling and criticizing.
