Alarm go off for no reason (screaming)

I've remover the door striker plate connector and the alarm would not arm.

I then removed it and did my best to clean up the inside with electronic cleaner and it seems that either that was the fault or the connection had some corrosion on it.

So either that was the problem or the BM does not like to be dirty as I also gave it a good was and shine. :rollsmile:


I guess it's on it's way, on an E36 they aren't repairable, one must replace them, glad it seems ok now

I still think it's a new sensor that I did not know about, that reminds me that it needs a wash. :skit:

On a serious note, I'm sure the striker plate is on its way out.
