No the wing will create some kind of downforce at higher speeds whereas the tail pipes do nothing,

That's cute, no it won't.
Ok maybe it will, but it will create so little extra downforce that you won't feel it. In the same way that the carbon fibre sleeves make it lighter, therefore reducing overall weight, even though you won't feel the difference.

That's cute, no it won't.

no whats cute is that you say no and then you say maybe? You do realize that there is a difference between a WING and a SPOILER? a wing will create way more downforce than a spoiler at high speed and it is noticeable. or do race cars just put them on to add more weight...

But it doesn't look like he was referring to his "carbon wing" as a big high wing, but rather a slim line bootspoiler. If you look at his signature, you may realize this...

Indeed... I am so vehemently sorry that I wasn’t clear it was a boot spoiler and not an actual wing. Just makes the car look more “sporty”.
