AirCon ReGas - e90

Took My car for a service at the begining of FEB. My airCon used to be cool only two clicks,temp at 18 and the car will be cold as a fridge.

Now i have to drive either with the windows open or with the aircon at maximum. Spoke with my mechanic and he tuned me i need an air-con regas :flyfun: Dont know what is that, can i check that on the dashboard to see if the gas is really low :fencelook:

Where do you guys recommend I take my car in MIDRAND/PTA/CENTURION.

Had mine regassed in Randburg for R470. just make sure you take to a proper regas place and not these guys on the side of the road.

Hey Man, not sure if u know but if your ride is still under motorplan, the re gas is covered by motorplan and is free to you. Also covers wheel alignment as well and your car battery just for future reference.

Around R400+ not quite sure. I am taking mine for re-Gas this weekend. There is a place Ross Duncan recommend me close to where i stay in MIDRAND. Will let you know how much it costs tomorrow

Mate of mine hooked me up therefore the good rate plus he also did a pressure test :thumbs:

Hey Guys,

So i went to see the AIRCON guys over the weekend. The lady told me, to check the car to see the gas level its 180 to fill the gas its 450.

All along i was under the impression that its checking is free :fencelook:

you can contact LZ the dentdoctor, he does regassing.. i was gonna take my wifes car to him but then the aircon started working again :fencelook:

Thats not right.

When i did my regas in Randburg, the guys first check for any leaks, ran a dye through the system which also lubricates the system. Then removed any remains of the old gasses then refilled to spec with new gas, takes just over an hour to complete.

Charged R490 for it.
