Aircon (e46): Cold and Hot

Hey guys, for sometime now my aircon has been giving me issues. My aircon blows cold air from the passengers side including the middle left vent, then from the drivers side the air is hot including the middle right vent. Is this because of a blocked aircon? I have re-gassed it recently and no clue what the issue could be.

Google E46 final stage resistor. that's the issue:thumbs:

Mine did exactly the same. Topped up aircon gas and all was well again. You might as well also replace the final stage resistor

Aircon gas needs topping up. Final stage resistor is when the aircon stops working completely. As in... no air at all.

Yup.

Yes, sits on the left hand side above the transmission tunnel. Have to remove the clove box iirc and the side panel to the transmission tunnel. High up above the tunnel you will see the wires leading into the final stage resistor. It may have a screw holding it in place plus a clip but it comes out fairly easy. I found that the plug going onto the fsr did not make good contact and that stopped the fan from working, so first make sure the contacts are nice and firm and see if that doesn't do the trick.
