Airbag light on E90 LCI

Hi all

Have an airbag light on the car now. Check the code and the error message is "0093AE MRS Active Head Restraint left".

Any ideas how to reset/fix this error?

Tried to code it out but didn't work. Other errors come up.

TIA.

I had this issue, we switched head rests and it seemed to have worked.

Initially I thought it was the slip ring on the steering as this does sometimes cause the airbag light and had it replaced but the light came back. Once we swapped the headrests and cleared codes, issue never came back.

also check the plug underneath the seat as well, unclip and clip it back in firmly.

My airbag light also came on last Sunday.Tried to reset by disconnecting the battery.
There goes my FRM module. No power windows,no indicators.R1800 later all fixed.
Airbag was reset by auto elec with Launch diagnostic tool

They saw u coming for that repair.

In general the airbag lights will only be reset by a scanner. Unfortunately thats how things are with the airbag lights as thats a critical component
