Does anybody know where I can get a compressor at a decent price? New or good used? This is for my 04/1998 E39 540i. OEM Part # is 645 269 113 42.
I am in PE, but will arrange collection/shipping.

I can do for 180 plus shipping comes with slip for warranty.

I do have another one which does hold in the freon and is working all needs is a new clutch coil which is 40 bucks approx at autozone. I can do that for little less about 50 less than 180.

Firstly - I've just checked that Part Number against OEM and that number is not specified for a E39 540, so I would be reluctant to go that way.
Secondly - I'm in South Africa.
