Hi Peeps,

Need some advise please.

I have a 2009 E92 335i MSport Coupe
88700KM and the BMW motorplan expires this year October ( renewed twice with BMW )

Vehicle is in Perfect conidtion and I LOVE IT..... but the warranty plan is the concern.

Anyone knows of a good aftermarket plan as i would love to keep the car till it dies.... or should i consider selling and looking at something with a motorplan...

Thanks in advance

Buy mine, its got 2 new turbos! Just jokes.

But the aftermarket warranties suck! Check that the HPFP was replaced under motorplan and then just save for the day when the turbo's start to fail. Injectors could be the only other costly repair.....

I would also pay a visit to ZF to check out the gearbox.

Not sure what aftermarket warranty you should look at but check the values they give for replacing some items like clutch, turbo and so on..

Cause some of them only allow 4000 for clutch for argument sake and then the difference comes from your own pocket

The experience I've had with an aftermarket warranty was surprisingly pleasant. The door locking mechanism on my car failed put in a claim, was told to take the car to VW. The parts and labour was about R4000 I only had to pay in R500.

Sorry for a bit of a hijack, I'm in a similar position.
My plan expires next year on the C63, and I'm looking at taking an aftermarket warranty.

I got a quote from Innovation group of R460 per month, or R8300 once off.
They cover the full drivetrain 100%.
Is it too good to be true?

SA Warranties is quite. I have it on my car and KISH had it previously.

Obviously the plan depends on mileage and age.

Recently I needed a new radiator and they covered R4500 towards the OEM price of R6500:coolShake:

All u need to ensure is that post MP the car is maintained either at the agents or an RMI approved dealer.

I am currently dealing with Kamal at MotoTechnik and he also recommended SA Warranties for fast pain free claiming when required.

Have any of you looked into the Bosch (Service centre) Maintenance plan?
read up on it some time back but never went ahead for reasons unknown
Seemed like a pretty good deal, Obviously with limits in place as well

I was alos considering Innovation group, they said, full cover on all parts for 2years 14k.... need to read the fine print though.. just a quote for now...

did have some luck though, booked my vehilce at the dealership, manage to get HPFP, clutch kit, both turbo's, vanos , battery and more.. ( long shopping list ) changed under motorplan....

40K claim under warranty... Cant beileve IT...

anyone interested to Buy a 335i E92 Msport... :=):
