Do you guys do a lot of standing start launches and at what rpm.

Think this is where clutch takes most abuse. If it doesnt havethat initial bite and torque comes in it will speed up the wear.

1000km wear in, with lots of down shifts, and very little hard acceleration, during the run in period.

Warming tires at around 4500 rpm. And launching around 2500-3000.
Theres actually also a fbo 335 around durban, also with a spec3+, and too date no known issues.

If you need to replace your clutch the best bang for your buck is the 330d clutch. I know of a few big turbo guys who run those clutches with locked diffs. They push the clutches extremely hard all day everyday and now issues so far.

Is the 330d clutch a direct fit? Is a 330d dmf required?
And how does it compare to a stock n54 clutch? I'm just looking for a cheaper alternative to stock n54 clutch and DMF. The n54 DMF prices are ridiculous.

Depending on your power goals you could look at a single mass fly wheel. Does do get a little noisey. Formula frictions does them for around 6k

The 330d clutch is a direct fit
