aftermarket headlights

Hi guys.

I have a 2008 135i coupe.
Unfortunately it didnt come with xenons.
I really dnt mind the lack of xenons but would luv to have the corona rings on the car.

Ebay and various other sites have aftermarket replacement headlights for the car for a fraction of the cost that bmw will charge me to get the corona rings ( R3000 vs around R22000).

My concern however lies with motorplan.Any one have any experience with afermarket lights?

Introduction WITH pics would be nice. People on this forum will be more keen to help then, rather then to just come in and seek help :thumbdo:

I looked at retrofitting Xenons, Cannot be done easily, check out 1addicts and bimmerforums.

autostyle sell replacement headlights with the rings, not sure how they will work, would also guess motorplan will not cover them so either remove before service (involves taking off front bumper) or take a chance.

highly doubt they will notice them unless they bring up a warning light.
I have taken my car in with semi-slick tyres and they were oblivious. (BMW midrand) so headlights shouldnt be a problem.

Buying aftermarket xenon's wonr last very long.
OEM xenons is a bit job to fit will a lot of time to code the vehicle.
Dont put cheap stuff on a 135, you will automatically drop the value on the car.
If you cant afford oem xenon's stick to halogens.
