After Market E46 M3 front Bumper

Hey guys,
Im thinking of getting the After Market M3 Front bumper, but, before i go ahead i want to know if any of you guys have fitted it or know of anyone who has fitted it and if it fits properly.
I have a 2003 E46 320i face lift.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Mtech II bumper looks better on your car. M3 bumper doesn't suit 4 door.

Believe me... I've tried it on my e46 323i. Mtech II with carbon splitters.

I have always been in love with the mtech bumpers but never had the cash to get it.
The thing is that, the guy only has the M3 one left and i can swop him a few things plus cash balance. Only thing is spraying and fitting. Wonder how much that is going to be
Will it fit though?

If the bumper he has is designed for the 4 door then it "should" fit. If its for the M3 then it will be wider and will need some modification.

Go with the MTech, the m3 on a non M looks very awkward IMO.

+1 on Mtech 2. IMO cosmetic M3 parts should not be put on non M cars. It's like putting an M3 badge or side vents on a 318i:fencelook:

If you go for Mtech 2 you should also get the side skirts and rear bumper as well, otherwise it looks a bit odd.

The only thing is the guy doesn't have any mtech bumpers left. Only the m3
The thing is I didnt plan on buying a bumper. Its only cause its a swop im considering it. And tbh I hate the face lift bumper especially when its not dropped.
So the m3 is the only option I have. Iv seen some pics with it on the face lift and it doesnt look to bad.
The guy said its made for the face lift and pre face lift cars.
I just dont wanna get it then it doesnt fit then I sit at a lose.
This is quite an impulsive buy but I have always wanted a different bumper cause the fl bumper is hideous imo.

make sure its for the 4 door...i fitted the csl bumper to my ci....fitment can be tricky but get a professional to spraty and fit it..

The guy has one mtech bumper left now and I think thats the wiser choice to go for. I just really hope ite not gonna be a mistake and waste of money doing this.
Basically im swoping him the drop kit and the induction plus I think R400 or R500 for the bumper then its an extra R750 to spray and fit.

Not True. You can find the parts relatively easy. I didn't have the brake ducts for a while and it didn't bother me, nor did anyone notice unless they looked for them. Eventually got them but then ended up taking the left hand side one out to make way for my supercharger intake.

You will need the fogs tho. It will look stupid without the fogs, and most Mtech II kits come complete with Fogs, fog covers and fender liners. Mine did.

Well im not getting the m3 bumper anymore. Im going with the mtech bumper. Comes with beading and grill. Probably doesnt come with air vents.
The fogs I will be getting aswell but in time as I neee to source the money first. They R850 including cover plate thing.

Do any of you know how much I should sell my face lift bumper with spots, everything original. Cause there alot of mixed prices floating around. Just wanna know what would be a good price to ask.

Reviving an old thread for a couple of questions as I am looking to do the MTech 2 bumpers on my e46:
1) What are the differences in the fender linings from a non-mtech e46? I looked at http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=ET56&mospid=47644&btnr=41_1098&hg=41&fg=10 and there is no different part number for fender lining. Am I missing something to show the difference?

2) Are the brake air duct brackets necessary?
