Howzit gents,
My car is scheduled for its inspection 1 service which SMG Cape Town will be carry out as they have also done my first oil service since my ownership. I was pleased with there service hence my return.
Now the questions. This is only the second time i have serviced the car since owning it this is also my first BMW as most of you would know.
I wanted to know is there anything i should stipulate that the dealers should do but they only do it on customer request example like activate certain things on my car, update software, point out specific things for them to look for etc etc. I would appreciate any help or feedback from you guys in this regard.
This can be a cool topic for other guys too that is not aware of certain things that can be requested from the dealer.
Note I am only referring to the things that are done 'free' i don't want to be paying for stuff i don't really need. Example if my car has a lights on feature when the alarm is deactivated and only the dealers can set this i would want them to set it but for free.
Hope the above makes sense i know its long but im trying best to explain myself in an clear as possible way.
Is there perhaps a list that exist of possible features that could be enable on your vehicle without your knowledge?
My vehicle is a 2002 e46 330i btw.

btw does anyone know if the dealers will correctly adjust my lighting for free; as i played around with mine and messed up the beam directions. After numerous attempts they still not where they should be.
and do they charge for any other thing you want them to look at or what?
