I've bought a BMW X5 3.0l D 2004 model. After just having it for 30 days, the car collapsed on the left front & rear. The switch next to the steering wheel didn't work anymore as well. The electronic display reads "self-levelling suspension inactive". The front left sensor was replaced 4 months before I bought it. I had the car at a dealer for more than a week and never got a written quotation. Who can you refer me to or advise on what should be checked. If I choose to replace the whole self-levelling suspension what would be the cost implications?
