Advice Needed: Can i use Blue Lettering for CY Reg Plate

Hi Guys need some advise or opinions

I was thinking of cutting my new CY reg plate in durban blue lettering,
You guys think the ghost squad and traffic cops will have an issue wid it?

The ND plates match the colour of the car, just looks good.

BTW: Car Le Mans Blue.

I am not sure if teh colouring of teh numberplate is an issue.

But I know the numberplate place near Land rover in N1 city are "accomodating" with numberplate designs

I recon if you have a CY plate you should run white lettering on a white plate

There is a standard that needs to be followed and anything outside that will cost you.

Few years back I had a 200IE Opel Astra and had the number CY 2001. It was the colour of the car and cost me about R1200 in fines in about two days and I had to go back to standard.

If I remember correctly the Coisman's (sorry) Cops would only pass numberplates with "SABS" stamped to it....

It has nothing to do with SA BrewerieS...

I am not sure what the rule is regarding the WP plates, but I have to say that ours is quite boring, why not incorporate Table Mountain or something like that in it?

Some provinces have nice numberplates and some looks like stickers, maybe.

Looks like i will have to use LED numberplate lights to give the blue effect
now to find error free 1's, well according to Kabal i have to pay a visit to ottery
