HI guys. I thought I'll ask you learned M3 guys for some info you might have on an e46 m3 conv for sale in durban. Do any of you have more to tell me about this particular sale. Seems highly priced. The dealer said that from 2012 the car was out of motor plan and can't get hold of the owner to query post motor plan history. thanks guys, let me know What you think about this one :coolShake:

Tell us a bit more. What mileage? Asking price? Condition?

A BMW dealer should be able to help out with the MP history. The seller is either ignorant of this or there is something he doesn't want you to know.

Dirty engine bay :thumbdo: some people:YesNo:

Have it thoroughly checked out by someone in the know, or take it to BMW for a full inspection at your own expense.....if the dealer does not agree, walk away

118000km on n the clock. Turns out the car was owned by SMG Durban and sold brand new to a client. Client does 3000km trades in as demo to smg. Someone buys it....fully serviced by smg until 96000 in 2012. Owner then trades it in at range rover and autovision then buy this car for sale. 2012 till now, agent cannot get hold of client to find out about services done.

Autovision is prepared to send to bmw umhlanga for full inspection AND service at their expense. He Won't go below R260k. Not sure about price as it seems so high!

Seems sketchy dude, mixed reviews also about autovision, some praise them and others discredit them. I suggest you get the VIN number and contact BMW to check all previous claims and when motorplan expired. Also, I'm not too sure on the service indicators on an E46 but surely the car would have required a service from 2012 till now and if so, who did the service?

22000km done in 2 years seems about right so I doubt the mileage has had a haircut considering BMW did the service @ 96000km.

Would any one know if a 2006 E46 M3 white manual, would be on the market soon please?

White and 2006 are both very rare.

I would broaden the search to include at least all facelifts (2003-2006) and consider other colours.

But the car that is in the best condition, and don’t cling too dearly to a single color preference.

Good luck.

Same experience, Looked at a 2012 E92 comp pack there last year. For the price I expected a cleaner car.
