Conversation went like this ;

Copper : Who da bladdy hell are you to drive like hooligans in my table view
Me: (softly) You are so right sir my profuse apologies

Copper: (nonplussed) Of course I'm right the policeman is always right

Me: Of course you are

Copper : Right never again or I moer you and lock you up

Me : (relieved) Of course I wont

Great Fun:joy:

We need a midnight run, JHB midnight runs look awesome. Just saw the march run with a few m3s and even a 1m :inlove:

Midnight run means happy breathing cars in the cool air.

I'm there if one is arranged.

LOL, that must have been comical to watch as a spectator - sorry, have sick sense of humour.

That road is nasty and way too narrow for traffic in both directions - that Nissan Livina didn't seem too keen to go much onto the soft smooth grass to make way, forcing a few of us including me, to have to go off the concrete road and onto the gravel to go past. Problem was that the gravel is lower making the concrete road like a curb that you have to climb back onto - luckily no damage that I can see to the left inner rims or sidewalls, went as left as possible so that the climbing angle was enough to prevent scraping the sides of the wheels... :nonono:

I very much enjoyed the drive out! Haven driven hard round corners in a while:rollsmile: Thanx everyone, a quickie definitely does have its place!

Im in for a midnight run if there are no cops, cops dont like E30s very much, dont know why...

This was only when I stopped down at the bottom Bloemendal Restaurant that I noticed my hubcap was missing

Was like WTF? then had to go all half-way up that bloody hill again (sluggish auto box + fuel guzzling car :nonono: )[Filled my tank up on Friday and already I've done 229km :flyfun:) Anyways the pics will suffice those with a sick sense of humour :mmm: :)

This was when I went to go find it...

My poor paint
Next time can we stick to garages/parking lots
How soon can we have a midnight run? With a larger crowd.
And one of those 330d beasts :fencelook:

I'm thinking 1st September ?

lol you guys are wussies!:tease: It wasnt THAT bad. Me with my 80s suspension and lowered on big wheels were okay. It was bumpy but not as bad as some driveways ive been. there was just that one dip that claimed a hubcap:rollsmile:

and if you think it was smooth in the Hamann you are wrong!
Those 11.5x21 with 325/30-21 counted all the stones and dips it could get on the way up!

But I admit... that gravel parking at Chapmans Peak drive was smooth as a baby bumm if we do compare.... :=):
