Morning Gents,

Would like your opinion if my BMW is repairable or is it totaled?

Fell asleep this morning very early while traveling to work. Long story short, went off the road and hit a wall from the side. Impact was so hard the car stood on its nose for a couple of seconds before falling back down.

Damage assessment just by looking while waiting for EMS:

* Major damage to the front of my BMW.
* All Air bags in the car deployed.
* Passenger side doors don't open (Front passenger door was forced open by Fireman trying to get my belongings.
* And for some reason my roof is dented?:fencelook:

Cheers,

That's a big impact bud.
The roof being dented is part of the crumple zone, that in itself shows that it was a hard shunt! Definitely a write off

Glad you ok. Damn scary thing that.

Good to hear you are ok and no-one else involved. Sorry about your car, but hello insurance :yuck:. Next time (hope not) let go of the wheel and save your thumbs.

Sorry mate. Too bad for you and your car but you made it out without much more than a few scratches. Safe cars these BMs.

The problem with BMW's are... they too comfortable... hence why you fall asleep.

Make sure your next car has Coilovers, stiff springs, sway bars and camber plates...

You'll never fall asleep again...

Seriously though, I really am sad to see this happen to a fellow fanatic. I could only imagine what it must be like being woken up mid crash. Glad to see you are ok.
