True! The Sound of a Bmw Inline 6 @ 6000RPM is something to behold:praise: But in a controlled situation though:roflol:

Here's the juicy details.....




Check the red arrow - it broke off right at the top of the pedal.

Now this things works like a type of hinge mechanism, where the pedal is mounted to the floor as well as onto the connector where the shaft slides into, are both plastic materials that have to bend in order to move the pedal (if it makes sense)

My question, Why would you make these things plastic?

glad you ok, same thing happened to me with my golf 4 when i had it only it was the clutch, the weld that holds it in place broke, from what i read on the interwebs it was common for those cars

Pedal Finally replaced, but geeez what a mission to get the old one out!! Just a tip for the gents - when taking it out, you WILL need a new one! You literally have to break the old one out! Little bit of elbow grease and a few harsh words and it's out:rollsmile:
