abs warning light

hi guys, any of you ever have your abs warning light and i think the traction control light come on? My brakes felt fine tho and after i parked for a lil bit it went away.

By any chance, have you been driving in the rain/wet. Could be a dirty sensor, if it went away again.

erm no but i had the car cleaned yesterday?

It's one of the sensor's in the wheels. These are prone to go from time to time in the first gen Mini's.

'think the traction control light come on?' lol if its not coming on you not trying hard enough... its normaly an annoying yellow triangle that tells you that you have over cooked it a bit...

Definitly sounds like water or a sensor. If it only does it once off I wouldn't worry.

Funny... on my bmw the light always appears when I stop at a robot and a vw/opel/ford/merc/toyota/audi... well whenever another car pulls up next to me,
so after the millionth time, I finalyy saw it's my multiple personaliy disorder, making my left hand go down and switching the system off... :mmm:
