might just need a reset in the ECU, could also be that one of your tyres is under inflated, just check all tyre pressures as a first measure

EDIT: pop in to Zeemax in paarden eiland, and speak to Zaid about it, he might even just plug it in and reset it for you ;)

sharp rider i also think it just needs to be reset but just to do that at BMW agents will cost me an arm and a leg!

I'm telling you man, pop in at Zaid and tell him what its doing.... He has often just plugged my car in and reset stuff for me at no charge. There service is also tip top.

I have a problem where mine sometimes comes on. I can turn the car off and then back on and it will go away, so in my case it is probably a bit dirty.

I do however have and issue that my pad wear light is permenantly on. I changed all my pads about 3 months ago, and it started about 2 months ago.

They probably put the pad wear sensor back in incorrectly, or maybe the wire has sheared somewhere inside the wheel arch.

I changed it all myself, I think I remember replacing the sensors :p

it only started like a month later, so you are right, it probably came loose or broke
