ABS DCT WARNINGS

Hi

I keep experiencing a problem on my E90 335i, everytime I make a slow sharp turn, especially into my drive way the ABS, DTC and tyre or RFT warning lights come on. When you restart the car they gone and all is working. Do I need to remove all four wheels sensors and clean them, do they fail. I would assume if a sensor fails its dead and the warning will stay on. My battery was replaced awhile back with a genuine BMW battery but the problem only started lately. Also no puncture and all 4 tyres are correctly inflated. I get no warning driving at any speeds or when doing normal turns, only slow sharp turns, ABS is works normally and so does the DTC.

Anyone experience the same?

Thanks

Don't forget that it isn't just the ABS and the 4 wheel sensors but also the STEERING ANGLE sensor which could be your problem here.

Maybe ask someone to do a steering angle sensor calibration for you with diagnostics and then see if the problem return before going for wheel sensors.

Have a look at this site, I used it to resolve mine. The sensor disc gets dirt over time and then only at certain points does it trigger the ABS, handbrake and traction lights.

Plain, get the steering angle sensor recalibrated, 5min job with the right DIS diagnostics tool and if it returns then maybe go this route. But try and read the codes first.
