A special thanks to a couple of awesome fanatics

I would just like to create this thread to thank a couple of awesome fanatics that saved me a lot of trouble and helped me a great deal, who where there when other places would just shrug there shoulders or give the classic line that all BMW owners probably know "Dealer only".
If more places worked like these guys do the car industry and the service in general in SA would be better to deal with.

The first is M3M5POWER that went through a lot of trouble and effort on his part to source me a clutch kit for my car, calling me me back every time he has found something and just to update to progress he has made.

The second is Gizmo for his no mess no fuss just sourcing me a flywheel - one of the items that everyone would give you the "dealer only" BS.

Thanks to these guys I saved more than 50% of what the items would cost from the dealers and it is the exact same part minus a BMW stamp.

Still need to get new bolts for the flywheel and the pressure plate and have a clutch alignment tool made.

awesome hope you will do a full writeup... i am also worried about doing this because i have to do it alone... but the gearbox weighs about the same as the diff (least with the oil out) so in theory it should not be that hard to do alone :fencelook:
