Thats not to bad! looks mostly cosmetic damage with maybe a few small pieces broken , If this was the older one then it would have been written off . I was expecting much worst ! To be honest , Im sure the car will be fine after the repair . I also thought you had the 1st gen x3 , that would have been written off at that cost of repair .

Hope things come right !

That golf looks written off ..

My wife was very shaken up. Understandably. However even in her state, she had the presence of mind not to tell me until AFTER we had left the accident scene and were on our way back home that the driver of the Golf had got out and sworn at her as if it was her fault. He also tried to say that M had already had an accident with the Amarok before he hit the back of her:RedNo:

That oke can count his lucky stars because he would have received a PK if I had known what had transpired....:RedNo:

I have such an awesome wife. Always looking out for me:roflol:

R80K for cosmetic stuff, that is insane :RedNo:

Makes one think if these are the cost prices or a little extra added price on top

But glad they going to fix her for you. Holding thumbs that they do a proper job on it

And on a lighter note .......

Dude, your car's registration number.... what does it mean? :fencelook:

Ah the registration number.....

I used to race offroad bikes for Alfie Cox's KTM Race Team back in the day. He told me one day in the pits to just keep it "WIIIIIIDE OPEN Davey" and it kinda stuck:roflol:.....

It used to ensure also that my ex wife didn't like driving my car:roflol:

My wife now has asked if perhaps just maybe possibly we could change it:roflol:. I'm in the process of getting myself another KTM1190 Adventure and i will probably transfer it across and go incognito "normal reg" on the X3:=):

PS: I have been asked before (by a rather attractive lady I might add) if I was a gynaecologist:roflol::roflol::roflol::roflol:

Maybe it's good she told you on the way home (after you started relaxing) otherwise you might have spend the night in jail. But hey, I would have done the same as you (would have smacked the living @#$ out of him)

Glad everyone is ok, hoped the vw driver got arrested for reckless driving :fencelook:

You should have said yes, or did you? :roflol:

Also, someone is trying to take you for a ride, anyone else here agree with me that that does not look like R210 000.00 worth of damage?

I have a 13month old and I can imagine what goes through your mind, the things we would do for our kids (especially infants).

so glad he is OK.

so I got an email from SMG Panel Beaters today to say WIDEOPN-ZN is into the assembly section. I am still sitting overseas until at least 14th December so its a bit nerve wracking that I wont be around to collect the car.

Any Dbn based Fanatics who are as fastidious as me want to volunteer to check the car before she comes home:rollsmile::=):

So WIDEOPN-ZN was collected today from SMG Panel shop by my Dad cos I'm still in frikken Turkey:hammerhead:

He drove the car home via the wheel alignment guys I use and the feedback is everything appears taught and no rattles etc. Shutlines are perfect and by all accounts the paintwork is very good.

I can't wait to get back and look at it myself:=):
