Ok so here are a few final pics of the CSL.
Car is back with its owner who insisted that it was time for him to have it.......unreasonable if you ask me.......I sang to it every night......and gave it a treatment of new fluids and additives.........and did I mention that I sang to it every night?

Earlier on in the post there was discussion about the way the bumper fits

Seeing that bumper reminds me... I need to come fetch my bumper rubber that I left by you.

Great work Vanos Whisperer. Beautiful car.

I thought you would have at least pulled the red cover off the car next to it to show the red car what a real performance car looks like...

Top notch work as always, Peter. Your work and professionalism is such an inspiration to me you have no idea.
Plus Im so jealous as to the cars you have been working on lately, they all form part of my dream car garage, particularly the Z3M AC Schnitzer and CSL...

Not so much the bumper fitment, its those headlight trims that look a little out place where it clips to the fender.

Both light trims are spaced apart, you are right.

Looks like a defective fitment from its mother.

Much credit to the previous owner for keeping this truly special vehicle in such
astonishing condition.. and the new owner I'm certain, will do the same.

So...the car came in for its 200 or 300 Km service after nearly 2 years.
This would entail brake fluid /oil/coolant change

Michael decided to dump the antifreeze distilled water combo and go to Evans Waterless coolant.
This meant that the cooling system had to be evacuated completely of water.

Highly recommend its use for cars that do not travel extensively.

On its last service I changed the fuel filter and did so again because of this.

To drain the coolant I had to remove the heater valve so as to get the water out the heater matrix and pipes.

Part of the CSL intake thought the stamps interesting enough to share

Oil change requires that the oil cooler be drained
