Hi Guys,

I live in Randpark, I have just bought a German Spec M3 (Vadar Seats) I personally think its running a little pup to what it should be, The accelerator cable is a little sticky, and its missing the belt for the aircon, I want to take this car to somone who knows what they are doing and can do a diagnose on the car and tell me what needs to be fixed or adjusted and tuned etc etc, all I want is for this car to run like a 3.0 M3 should run, Please I want to know who is a trustworthy mechanic that I can take it to that knows there shit with regards to these engines, I want this thing to run like it did when it came out of BMW the day it was built.

Please help me out, a mechanic that isnt too far from me, I know sav speed is a good mechanic Im a little worried about prices that are through the roof though and he is a bit far, is it advisable to take it to him? or is there other mechanics that are close by that can follow the same type of quality work. If Sav Speed is the best option I will send the car to him.

Thanks,
Kind Regards.

I have used Sav speed for my car.

My advice take to him, and see what he says. You not obligated to leave it there, but trust me he is good and knows M3's!

any pics of your car?

If its not performing I would say
get it checked out and if its healthy, do a service, oem plugs and castrol edge sport oil etc.

reset the ecu then take it on a quiet stretch of road and give it a proper thrashing, it will probably wake up.

i took my car to Sav 3times and had issues all 3times. my only advice would be to please ask for your original parts that they replace on your car.

i ended up buying a haynes manual for my car, and started to do most of the work that i could on my car by myself, its not about the money ....but its sad that you have to pay a Premium to have your e36 M3 sorted out by "reputable" companies, only to find your hard earned money being wasted.....
