I agree with Skank... although... as it appears to have the dogleg box... it may actually have had an M badge on the grill. South Africa did get a motorpsort version (cosmetically).
This is just my opinion but when I see cars with cosmetics of tuners and nothing underneath I get the mutton dressed up as lamb feeling. Seeing the Alpina stripes makes me hope that underneath is a real B9 or B7. Original engine is a let down.
But then I am a sleeper type person. I would rather have a wolf in lambs clothing than the other way around.
