7 BMW's towed in with front smashes

This morning I went into our tow yard storage and saw 7 BMW's towed in over the weekend. 2 x E36, 1 x E30, 1 x F30, 2 x E90 and a brand new 5 series.
Unfortunately 2 wont make it as it died on the scene and 4 are in ICU with major facial reconstruction needed. All these cars had major front end damages.
Its really a sad sight.

I understand you cant post pics. But can you see an 'improvement' in safety as the cars become more modern? Lots of variables come to play, but overall is the cabin more intact with the newer cars?

Yes, the improvement compared to the old 3 series is huge. The cabin on the new cars are almost completely intact. I would say BMW has improved there big time on the crumple zones. Most of the damages are absorbed :thumbs:

From what I was informed, no 1 was killed. So :thumbs: to safety of these cars.

Thats the only thing that puts me off driving the e36. Other then that its a great car.
