We all know you guys are head of the pack, there's no denying that factor. But hey, challengers is what racing's all about isn't it. You guys deal with this sort of thing almost every week in DBN, so why not take up Raymond's offer. Yes you guys are the quickest, done the homework, spent the school fees and hats off to that, but at the end of the day, tall trees catch the wind and unfortuantely, you guys are it.

Raymond might win, or lose, but the point of the matter is that he IS the quickest M3-powered beemer in Gauteng and wants to race the best in the country, ie Cleo. He also knows his car is quicker than the last 12.2 run in CT and fancies his chances at the coast, and perhaps running an 11 too.

And please, Raymond obviously wants to challenge N/A cars without nitrous. Other than that, give the man some credit...he wants to play the game fairly, home and away. He's asked nicely, and if you're not up for it, then he'll understand it. No water off his back.

the main problem with this challenge is the wording...

it sounds like the drunken ramblings of a guy at 4am in a club...

if he wants to prove his car is the fastest he has to set times and then lay down a challenge like this like Smooth-ZN said... what does it matter if he beats some cars on a specific day when the same cars make better times every other day?

I reckon Raymond should go to Matuba regardless of the challenge end of the month. Sea breeze and prepared track so he should do better than Killarney. I think its hard for a tuner to leave his province a week before a race meet and when most cars he tunes are being prepared for a local meet.
I also think the Natal guys should come up for the two day Jamboree if it happens. I will sponsor the tent for the orgy hehe.

Simple. This was posted on the SnS forum. Loco read it, thought it was an interesting challenge and conveyed Raymonds thread to us, Fanatics.

So maybe this wasn't the correct forum to post. Apologies.

Again, it's not the actual challenge... it's reasons behind it which makes it seem childish. Maybe it's not, but it doesn't change the fact that it looks that way from what has been posted. Imagine you have no idea who this person is and then go and read the quoted text in the first post.

But whatever... different people will see what has been posted differently. The challenge is there for anyone who might be interested. Let's leave it at that. :thumb:

@too fyn: Consider this your warning. You do not come onto a forum and cause havoc like you just did.

At least introduce yourself and try to blend in. Next penalty carries a ban.

1. as a member of this forum, each member has a legal right to his/her opinion, and on several intances the vehicle that claims to hold the title as Fastest 6A, has infact used nitrous.( HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS FOR A FACT?)

2. during the 2007- 2010 duration at a host of events ranging from Margate to Matuba, this vehicle has used nitrous, but unfortunately due to the manner in which the KZN Drag Racing fraternity is conduced. resulted in this vehicle not been banned, instead cleo has been awarded the title.( WHICH VEHICLE ARE YOU REFERING TO?)

3. cleo has also been unable to conduce the same results during several events as a result of vehicles been subject to inspection as now, he has no way of utilizing the nitrous system, hence a subdued quarter mile time.( AGAIN AN ACCUSATION, WHERE IS THE PROOF OF THIS?)

4. as for the E55 AMG, it has proved its power as the owner has run a time of 11.6 at the eston event. the owner has done a 10.9 during the 2010-2011 period!!!(WHOSE E55 AMG IS THIS??? NOW IM LOST)[/b]
