Feeling on top of the world tonight!

Dropped past Freerider this evening and he helped me over the hurdle by showing me what my car can do, although as a passanger I should have remembered to wear plastic underwear....:yikes:

For those of you new , the steel balls test is to floor the car for 15 seconds and survive....don't feel bad as often I got marshmellowly after 8 seconds cause its a beast!!!

Well Freerider did it for 22 seconds, well surpassing the test:shocked:

So on the way home, I through down the hammer and made it for 20 seconds until a slow moving car was spotted...damm

Well now I'm satisfied

Ian, I have a similar test, It's the 540i Tungsten Carbide Balls Test. I should take you for a spin sometime...

What about the Titanium balls test, getting my 540 to go sideways on it's 245's.

Never tried it, I'll stick with steel

Mmmmm....
22 seconds in a straight line? or 22 seconds on the throttle going through bends as well??? :dunno:
Anyhow, While visiting my sister in Lichtenburg, I opted to do the top-end run with my baby :mmm:
didn't know that she could go all the way past where the big number is!!
Kept it there for about 30seconds... then had such a big headache from thinking of all the "What if's..."
I had to pull over and sit and relax, and enjoy the adrenaline rush...
I love having done the chip, makes all the difference. as in no limiter
How long have you had your car for Ian??
:pimp:

Longest floor run I had probably lasted 28 minutes...

From Springbok to KamiesKroon? or towards Steinkopf, or past Carolusberg?

Come to think of it... you have many directions with nice "testing ground"

Look, like I said once before, but in another thread, I also push it sometimes. :mmm:
the road in Lichtenburg... millie lande freshly plowed on both sides, and open road looking to the horison.
I felt safe enough to push it a bit, to see what the R15k bought me :excited:
I already knew to "dicing" performance :nono:, but never have tried the top-end thingy
so I kinda felt obligated to do it...
must also confess, on the way back on the sunday, on the Rustenburg N4, back to pretoria...
some dude in a E46 m3, black one, "compulsed" me to see if I can catch him... :mmm:
well, I kept up, about 2 car lenths behind, till he reached his limitter... :sneaky:
He was like :dropjaw: ... :wtf: I was like :woot:
Oooo... so much fun!
:pimp:

Just remember boys and girls, to never try that at home :nono:

Yeah well my home is kinda small to test out the top end of my car, so I most certianly will not try it at home.
Coisman we all know that you also like your speed (the car one not the clubbing one :) ) but we try to be better than the ST guys that brags about illegal things on an open forum, plus having a metro officer on the forum also helps to keep the guys quite here :p

20 seconds in an M5 is like an hour in many other cars...
