14 to 15-per 100k in town,long distance to jhb at 130k she gives 11l per 100k

is this normal for 4.4 liter v8 e39.changed o2 sensor.

No comment - e36 325i manual up to 14l/100km in town -10.5 on highway , but V8 sound and light right foot for week driving and fun on weekends then 540i makes sense !!

I'm averaging 12.8l per hundred on the short commute to work, which is basically maintaining 80-100km/h, with occasional blasts past the sleepy traffic on Baden Powell. Doesn't go up by much if I sit at 120-140, though. The annoying thing is that it takes so much effort to sit at 80. It's barely idling at that point, lol.

Had it down to 9.5L/100km this morning on the N2 on my way to the city doing about 120km+ :mmm:

trip to bryanston and back to pretoria east (70% hway/crppy stop start rest) gave me 9.2l :shocked:

never been so good before, only thing different on car is engine flush.ceratec and toptec4200 yesterday :dunno::dunno:

Ok, new fun game today, how low I can get the consumption.

On a flat highway for 40Km 100 -120 kmh...... 7.6L/100

Average all the way to work and back 9.2L/100

I am enjoying this game for now as I have now done 400Km with just over half a tank left, effectively halved my fuel consumption.

Though to be honest I don't think this eco driving style will last very long (Already missing what a good prod on the loud pedal does)
