Seriously dude? There are only a few of these 540i Individuals 6 Speed manuals left as they were produced in limited numbers.

Also, with that low mileage... it will only go up in value.

Kind of looks like it's had a haircut if you look at the state of the interior... My E60 with 230k km looked tons better and the E39 interior is known to wear better...

Also, if it's such a collectors. Where are the original wheels? :fencelook:

I will always have a soft spot for the E39 and especially the E39 540 6 speed or M5.

The sound of that engine was just beautiful.

Also I personally think that the E39 was one of the best built BMW's ever made, out of all the BMW's I have owned the E39 felt the most solid by far! Closing the doors even felt good! and the way the steering felt!

The pre facelift e39 540i M, has some unique "tells" the aero kit, pre face lift M Sport steering wheel. This example has had the wheels changed and facelift headlights fitted.

This is the same spec as vukmuller(sp) car on the forum.

They certainly are not a common sight on the road and are fantastic cars, people should perhaps refrain from making baseless statements...

These are fantastic cars. You are right, I think it is like @victormike 's car. Although @victormike 's car is a different colour, and @victormike might just have to confirm if @victormike 's is a manual. I am almost certain @victormike is a manual. @victormike care to confirm?
