on a side note,just had a sales man tell me that i have a manual box,i said its auto but he insisted that wen u change the gears its is now a manual,and ther fore is a manual box,ask him if my clucth is invisible then and gave me some long:bs: answer,i said ok and went home haha

Sales muppets!!! Yip my cars an auto. Had it chipped in 2009 by Obi @ ChipLogic. Pointless actually, I drive it like an old man, I've got a honda fireblade to get my kicks. Given, the 580nm does help when towing 3 bikes - problem is the gearbox is suffers tho.

Thats why I am against chipping auto diesels, particularly the N57N......

Indeed!!! Can't beat mechanical gears' predictability and longevity. Auto boxes with oil pressures, valves, pumps are all too nancy pants for my liking.

Hi Ryanvs, have a chat with ZF, they do service exchanges of the GM (my part number 96024773) boxes too, had mine done in July 2010, very professional 011 457-0083, they charged me R19k excl VAT (R17k for the box & R2k to remove & refit), hope this helps.
