Take your car to ZF in Kuilsriver/Bellville or there somewhere. They serviced my X5 GM gearbox at a very reasonable cost. They recon GM gearboxes as well as the ZF's

I need some help with my 530d 2002 E39 auto box. If I shift to drive or reverse and push the throttle, the car just revs but does not move forward.

Has anyone experienced something like this? Where can I get a second hand box if needed?

Your advice will surely help.
