Just a question:

What is my on board computer supposed to show?

Default when I start is temperature
L/100km
Range till empty
Average km/h
then it shows blank before it is back at temperature.

Is it supposed to show blank?

Would like to know.

Not to sure about the e39's, but does it display the time on the cluster?

Sounds right.
Other cars also have a blank screen.
Time and or date in a other screen?

On my e46 it is the same sequence of stuff with the clock in place of where you have blank, which is why I ask.

Mine is on the radio as well, and not in 24h00 mode, but only in AM /PM... would love to be able to change that.

Would still love to upgrade to "bigscreen" radio system.
