Ok don't care, but I care for the poor fools that think a 335 weighs more than an X5. My job is to educate & a 135 weighs 50kg less than a 335.

As you were.

dont know whether to :roflol: or

50kg weight difference. Very interesting. I have proof, anyone interested in seeing the proof?

sherwin dude you really need to give the forum a rest. tlgp section has been closed and yet you continue to push. i am sure you are a very knowledgeable person as far as cars are concerned, but you really dont need to prove it to us. mainly because i for one don't really care. what i do care about is the fact that this forum is undergoing changes because you and others just won't back off.

please can i ask you to give this subject a rest for a while.

No... it's not your job. You may politely correct someone and move on. If they don't wanna listen then just move on anyway. Why is this such a massive issue??? Am I missing something here??

The weight difference is less than 50kg. Auto adds 22kg on each car. So manual 135 vs auto 335 is a 72kg difference. From guys that strip their cars on the quarter its about a .1second difference maybe a bit more but insignificant to the difference other factors can make..

What are the gearing on these cars??
Are all of them running the exact same ratio setup?
If so, what about diff and prop shaft and driveshaft influences??

FLIPPEN HELL?? I almost sound intelligent??

Its close. Drop seats in both cars and you can lose weight considerably.

Losing unsprung weight can create a further advantage...my car is on a permanent weight loss programme...but its not working for the driver...eish :rollsmile:

I really dont get where the aggression is coming from, but its kinda interesting to know that the 3 is not that much heavier than the 1?? i thought the 135 would be like 150kgs lighter and like Cois asked, are these cars similar in every other aspect??

If iam going to anger somebody with asking the above, just ignore :fencelook:
