335i water pump

So last week my time came to an end with my pump, it started leaking. Just started it up one night and got a low coolant level warning, refilled it and the next morning empty again. The car is at the mechanic at the moment, can't wait to get it back. I was lucky that it just didn't die on me and become stranded as I was driving.

Lucky bud, mine left me stranded....only because i left it to long, i also did waterpump and thermostat. I know the feeling bud.

Just out of curiosity what's the mileage on the car?
Also, do they just go just like.... does it not show any signs like a small leak that grows and grows?

The car is on 106k now. Pump was never changed before and I bought the car knowing it was going to give anytime since I took delivery which is about 7k kms ago. I've read that some has signs and some just give in. Luckily mine started a leak where I could drive home still

Possible installation issue.

Not using the revised bolts

You got some nice mileage out of your pump :bravo: one of the lucky ones. I also wanted to see how long mine was going to last but I was like the average 100k mark. Got the car back on Friday, Thanks Sherwin for the great service
