335i or E46 M3

e46 m3 vs e90 335i = e46, purely because of looks
e46 m3 vs e90 LCI 335 = and I sway to e90

now that I have driven 335, the lci just felt like a better car, and I really like the auto.

maybe I am getting old, but eventually you realise that all the "high reving N/A motor", "better handling", etc actually means nothing, when you are basically commuting from A -> B. I would rather have a peaceful drive to the office :)

My personal choice. e46 M3, with supercharger... :joy:

I had too...

and for the price of a 335i these days, you could easily get your M3 charged at Project Shift and still have money left over.

and regarding the gay comment about peaceful driving... then get a 5 series... M3 or 335i is when you absolutely need to do a time trial every time on the way to the shop to buy milk... no questions asked.

That was my way of thinking when I had to decide on an everyday performance car.

335i Auto was the deal, and I can even tke the kids to school in it:rollsmile:

think the 335i is in the lead now:bravo::rollsmile:

the 4 door styling is quite plain, but you can always change that...

I would looooove the E92 M3 though:thumbs: but cant afford to lose both my arms and legs...

why not get the 335i and save for a E36 M3 project...lol

I have to agree with kabal there.

I have driven the 335i for a few days before, but I don't know is nice power delivery from the bottom, but when that turbo kicks in it just makes me wanna rev it higher:rollsmile:

As for the M, it can be a nice cruiser, and if you wanna give it some gas the power delivery is nice also:joy:

E46 M...

If you're taking in account practicality, spaciousness, refinement etc then your choice has already been made for you and your destiny's set. The M3's only raison d'etre is to tickle the senses by doing everything on the ragged edge. But if you are after a 'comfortable' package then the choice is obvious...

(Mind you I've driven neither!!)

I would go for the 335i.

I have had a Z4 M Roadster. Which has the same engine as the E46 M3.

M cars are special. But SO is the 335i. One simply can't compare the 335i to other 3 series.

Cheers
M

Hey bud, I was in the same predicament like u. What swayed me was MP, auto and the 4 doors, being a daily drive. Now, if u buying the car just for the weekend E46 M3 but in manual, smg gearbox is just plain "kak" ***flamesuit on***

Both cars get me excited...the choice is yours and I am sure you will enjoy either one

But the new bmw turbo motors just have something special about them.
