335i n54 louuuud dumping

Hi guys would firstly like to introduce myself im Quintin and drive a bmw 335i e90 n54 I recently had software and downpipes done .. all was fine till a week ago power drope..and now 2 days ago I started dumping verrrry loud...checked the charge pipe no leaks?

The stock DV's are prone to leak if running excessive boost!

if you like the noise yes
if you want the stock sound you can either go for an after market charge pipe with forge DV's or you can just but the forge DV's and fit them onto your oem charge pipe

You should still look at changing the charge pipe. Theyre also know for cracking. Which you wont be able to see, but when under pressure can release loads of boost!

Doesn't sound like the dv's to be honest.

Have you checked under the car to see if the newly fitted dp's are flush mounted to the flange of the mid-pipe? Also, do you know if they fitted gaskets when installing the downpipes?

If the DP's are leaking the exhaust tone will be louder or it will sound like an exhaust leak that's all not a loud dumping noise

The downpipes were leaking but was due to bmw not having gaskets at the time.. got the gaskets and was installed.... you can hear the turbo,s spooling up as well ...and revs seem to be climbing alot slower

It happened twice where the one time the chrgpipe came off the throttle and the other where the venting valve next to the throttle clipped loose .Nr1 on the pic don't know how it came loose but it sounded like a loud dump
