335i in limp mode

Wasnt pushing it just driving ! Oil temp was about 100 degrees

All normal. But had a similar problem when wastegates were loose. I have disconnected the battery. Lets see what happens.

Anyone who has not had a limp mode with his 335 or 135 has not yet graduated with the car...:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::clap::clap::clap::clap:

When it gets really, really hot in the cape...i go limp...heeeeee....car is most happy when weather is cool especially during the evenings, the car runs like there is no tomorrow.

However, this limp behaviour can be very unsettling (and there could be MANY reasons why it occurs) but is often the reason why people trade in their turbo cars - it happens when you expect it the least.

Its kind of funny for me now because my car is so heavily modded...and limp mode happens very seldom...kinda happened more when it was stock....a very good reason to mod :thumbsup:

I fixed it :excited: Vacum pipe from actuator was cracked and came loose. Car still seems down on power.

agree with with twinz I sold my 2007 335i for the same reason.I bought
an e92 M3. Missed the torque and accleration...sold it after 18 months bought a 135i ...first deal when the dealer payed me money :excited::excited: haved done a few mods and really enjoying it.
