Good Luck:thumbs: Try not to let the excitement cloud your judgement though.

Throwing in a few curve balls for you that may fall within your price range:

Don't like the interior and it's an auto, but mileage is low.

No mileage indicated and it's an auto, but might be worth giving the guy a call.

Reasonable mileage and it's a 6 speed. Not a fan of the colour though.

This one looks good. Low mileage, interior looks to be in fair condition, looks like a 5 speed.

This one also looks decent, but no leather. Sunroof, xenons included

Thank you so much for going through all the trouble, I really appreciate it.

Checked them out, will cal them tomorrow and arrange a viewing.

Went there today again to check the car, it seems that he had fixed the chip marks on the bumper, or it might have been something else, the car was washed so I could see the paint better, but I couldn't see anything wrong with the bumper this time around..

I asked him again about the roof, but apparently he had it fixed under insurance after it happened, but the doors rubber wasn't replace, explains why I didn't see the dent, but the rubber is hardly noticeable, he scalpeld the top of the rubber where its sharp, before it went for repairs..

Still looking around to see for a better deal before I make a final decision.

I think you are in more need of advice for supercharging it than merely buying it

True true. I have never supercharged a car before. But did see some ess superchargers that bolts on to the specific BMW models, have read some reviews and even saw an article about some1 that did just that, but still abit afraid

So this guy is back to pissing me of, told him I am buying the car today, now he's away for the weekend, went back online and found a black 2005 6sp with 130K on the clock for R110K. Much better deal, on my way there now

So got the car, its a 2005 individual, 130K on the clock, and made the dealer bring down the price to R85K.

The leather wasnt treated too good, so will have to fix that ASAP! Wheels also need replacing, and the traction control light is on along with the brake light and tyre light..

Is this steering wheel and gear length standard?

Ya the sport packs and such came with the short shift gear knob. Steering wheel is msport which is cool - you can obviously adjust te position.

Brake light on means pads at least will need replacing. Best Option is to get ATE pads and discs as well if necessary and then DIY.

not sure about the traction control light. I would get the car checked for all error codes and do a full oil service immediately regardless of what the service history says.

Ok and I assume you meant the wheels need to be refurbished - cost should be about 350 a wheel at a decent place.

Thanks man, helped alot.

So was this fitted afterwards, or do you think it was fitted at factory, also the bumper looks like an m3 bumper, but its plastic and not FG.

I was actually tinking to replace rims and tyres, all tyres are dif makes, but second guessing the replacing of mags as these kinda look okay.

Whats the best place to take cars for services, not trusting my current mach so much anymore, also, whats a decent place to get a valet (car smells like piss and dog)? Preferably in centurion, also want to take it to refurbish the leather and the body. All asap.

Is there anyone in centurion that can maybe run the diag on the car and clear it? Tonight or tomorrow?

Will pay of coarse

So found a place that replaces all the leather with the customers preference, will be black with red stitching, includes steering wheel and panels with gear knobs.

Congrats dude. Very good price and low mileage. Hope it wasn't an impulse buy though and you checked out the history of the car before buying. Steering wheel and gearknob come standard with the individual. Can't really see the bumper clearly on my phone but looks like an mtech 2 which is also standard but I stand to be corrected on that one. Send it in for an inspection 2 service at BMW. Should cost around R2500

It's actually an m3 bumper it would seem, not the mtec2 of the msport/individual.

Thanks.

What is the inspection 2 exactly? Its due for a service 3K km back.

They didn't have any history on the car to be honest. I will take it to bmw so they can tel me more, other than that it runs good.

Glad to hear its an M3 bumper :)

Good looking car.

if u take the vin number of your car to any BMW Dealership, they can give u the history of the car up to the end of motor plan.

Just go in and ask to get the comments on a car, and u will be directed to the right joint

So today when filling up the oil, I removed the cap while it was started, but the car didn't even lose any RPM's, when putting my hand on the opening, it was sucking a little bit.

Past experience with the 318i, it was the crankcase vent valve (think that's what it was called) and apparently when its sucking all the oil is in the oil pan, and could cause a engine cease when not replaced, could anyone verify if I am correct
