330i Performance chip 70KW gain?

Hey guys,

So I was browsing ebay for some aftermarket parts, I then stumbled upon this chip :

Is it possible for a chip to get 70KW (95 HP = 70.84 KW) extra? Especially when it costs about < R300???

What are your thoughts? I am thinking of trying it since I only got less than 300 to loose.

A chip can not give you more air.
Valve timing or spark timing or more fuel wil not give you that gain, not on this car!!

Here is the guys response:

Design spec for this range of tuner is + 95hp with a similar gain in torque.
Ultimately, the gains realized are dependent on the age, condition, maintenance,
and operating conditions of each individual vehicle.
That being said, a well maintained, regularly serviced vehicle will most fully attain the
horsepower/torque/mpg goals.

Some people think by simply pouring more and more fuel into the motor make more power with no forced induction.
Hey , maybe this software melts the pistons and makes the combustion chamber smaller for more compression and then ajusts the timing so that it doesnt pre-ignite!! Cool stuff.
