hey guys, just a random thought. But did BMW ever try it's new 8 speed auto box on the old N52 motor on the E90 330i, or did they go straight to the 2.8 twin turbo 2.0l unit? Did love that straight six sound and wonder if the new 8 speed box would've been a suitably big economy improvement in order for them to warrant keeping that engine unit. Performance would've been better too, sigh...pity.

Couldn't get the 8 speed on the E90, just the 6 Speed ZF as far as I know.:thumbs:
